Animal Attractions

Jungala
Have you ever been close enough to a Bengal tiger to feel the hair on the back of your neck rise? Or ridden a zip-line through a rainforest? Or looked an orangutan in the eye from a jungle outpost? Experience all that and more at Jungala, the newest addition to Busch Gardens. Set in the lush Congo area, Jungala is four acres of fun filled with up-close animal interactions, a three-story maze of rope bridges and nets for kids to climb, two signature rides and live entertainment.

Bird Gardens
Marvel at the breathtaking beauty and cheery calls of some 500 tropical birds from around the world as they paint the sky with a rainbow of brilliant colors in this free-flight aviary. Spend some time with them as they share their lush garden habitat with you, inviting you to stay awhile and see what their high-flying life is all about.

Jambo Junction
The former Busch Gardens’ Nairobi Field Station now allows greater interaction between guests and the park’s animal ambassadors. The new area is called Jambo Junction, a name inspired by a Swahili greeting. At Jambo Junction, you can participate in animal feedings, lessons in husbandry and behavior training. Featured animals include Caribbean flamingos, lemurs, cuscuses, sloths and opossums.

Myombe Reserve
Enter a lush forest habitat where gorillas and chimpanzees can be found enjoying life to the fullest as they live and play in a natural environment. One look into their eyes, and you'll feel the kind of connection that quickly dissolves any barrier between our species. Peer through the mists and fog of Myombe's Great Ape Domain for a close-up look into the world of fascinating and majestic animals that most people see only in books and documentaries, and feel your world get at once larger and smaller.

Clydesdale Hamlet
These majestic animals are among the most docile yet powerful horses in the world -- which you'll appreciate when you take your picture next to one.
